More about Ian’s unique artistic approach:

“The voice of a painting speaks a language beyond words... softer than the feeling of an ocean wind tingling euphoria against your skin... heavier than a thundering crush of adrenaline pounding inside of your eyes, driving through your chest and into your heart..."
"I found graffiti at the age of 12. After those exciting moments and hard lessons learned, I turned 18 and decided that I wanted to make legal art that could speak to anyone, not just people within the subculture. During those early times spent on the street at night, I began developing what would become the hybrid abstract/calligraphy style of painting that I use today."
"My inspiration is anchored in the limitless potential of the human soul. The white-hot churning diamond of fire which lives deep inside our guts; that which can be focused and brought to bear on top of an atom if so desired. The spiritual pursuit of adventure lives in me, and I've brought my artist's mindset into both my backcountry travels and my career as a professional welder and industrial athlete."
"My process examines my past... my own experiences, both light and dark. Holding one in each hand, I dissect and combine them into actions from within the clouds of my subconscious. The result is something which speaks in a new voice entirely on its own.”
